The constitution guarantees six fundamental rights to all Indians They are:
The right to be equal
The right to express ourselves freely
The  right to be treated fairly and not be exploited
The  right to follow any religion we choose
The  right to seek justice
we also have cultural and educational rights

India is sovereign
This means that no one can tell us how to run our country. We are free to run it in any way we like.

India is socialist,
This means that all of us are equal and will be treated as equals.

We are secular
This means that our country respects all religions. Each of us has the right to follow any religion we wish.

India is a democracy.
This means our government is run by the people all of us have chosen together.

Our country is a republic because it is run by the people of India, not by a monarch.

Duties of Indian Citizens in constitution
follow the Constitution and respect its ideals
respect the national flag and our national anthem
help the government when the country is in danger
treat others as equals
help to keep the country united
take care of the environment take care of public property
avoid acts of violence
preserve our rich cultural heritage
work hard for the progress of our country
